Kenneth Peiffer

Kenneth L. Peiffer, 73, of Shillington, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 31, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. Born April 26, 1945 in Reading, he was a son of the late Betty Rosado.

A 1963 graduate of Reading High School, Kenneth worked as a machinist for 30 years at Baldwin Brass, Reading, retiring in 2009. He considered himself a simple man, and took great pride in bringing his family together through the years, making the lives of everyone a little easier, a little better, and a little happier. He had a great sense of humor, and was The King of Dad Jokes!

Kenneth enjoyed all sports, but especially loved watching women's professional golf. He was a huge Dallas Cowboys and North Carolina Tar Heels basketball fan.

Kenneth is survived by his children: daughters Heather Laskey, Shillington: Jenny Silva, wife of Antolin, Shillington; and Carissa Deisher, wife of Jordan, Elizabethtown; and son Troy, West Reading. Also surviving are five grandchildren, and his brother and sisters: John Rosado, husband of Mary Ellen, Sharon Rosado, partner of Jann, and Vicki Rosado.

A Celebration of Kenneth's life will be held Thursday, February 7, 2019, at 11:00am at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, followed by burial at Laureldale Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 9:30-11:00am in the funeral home.
