Kenneth B. Hummel

Kenneth Brian Hummel, 53, of Reading, passed away in his mother's residence on July 5, 2013.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of Nancy Jane (Reinheimer) Hummel, Reading, and the late Michael Paul Hummel.

He was a 1977 graduate of Reading High School.

Kenneth was employed for 15 years as a custodian with Staples, Wyomissing.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brothers: Todd M. Hummel, Manhattan, NY, and Troy M. Hummel, Sinking Spring.

Kenneth is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Jane C. Leibrock, Reading, and uncles: Denis W. Reinheimer, husband of Jeannette, Wyomissing, and Eugene P. Reinheimer, husband of JoAnne, Wyomissing.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until time of the service in the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Charles Evans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Berks Visiting Nurses Hospice, 1170 Berkshire Blvd, Wyomissing, PA 19610 or to the Cancer Society at Reading Hospital, 6 Spruce St, West Reading, PA 19611.
