Kenneth C. Gilfert

Kenneth Charles Gilfert, 71, died October 8, 2012 in his Exeter Township residence.

He was the companion of Leonora E. Renzi of Lower Alsace Township for 44 years.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Thomas E. Gilfert and Anna G. (Albert) Hasson.

Kenneth was a graduate of Reading High School.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his companion's grandchildren: Michael M., Jon P., Anthony T. and Dominic J. Renzi.

Kenneth was a member of Hampden Heights Fire Company Auxillary.

He was like a father to: Lisa M. Reber and Michael A. Renzi both of Lower Alsace Township.

Also surviving are a sister-in-law, Dorothy Gilfert of Birdsboro and many nieces and nephews.

Kenneth was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Thomas Gilfert.
