Kenneth R. Cole, 77, of Sinking Spring, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024, in the comfort of his home. Born in Paterson, NJ, he was the son of the late Joseph and Marjorie (Brown) Cole. Kenneth was the loving husband of Ruth (Ackerson) Cole, with whom he shared 50 years of marriage, until her passing in 2017.

Kenneth was a 1963 graduate of Central High School, Paterson, NJ. After graduating, he made the commitment to honor his country by enlisting in the US Air Force. After serving, he began a career in telecommunications and worked as a project manager for AT&T until his retirement in 1997.

A proud veteran Kenneth supported many military charities.

Kenneth was a devoted husband, father, uncle and most of all, he loved being a grandfather. His grandchildren were the loves of his life and he cherished time spent with them.

Kenneth is survived by his son, Bryan Cole, partner of Kui Duff, of Maplewood, NJ, and his daughter, Stefanie, wife of Jim O'Brien, of Sinking Spring. Also surviving are his two grandchildren, Michael and Ava O'Brien, and his brother, John Cole, of Orange City, FL. Kenneth was preceded in death by his brother Joseph "Mike" Cole.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Burial will be private.
