Keith K. Long

Keith K. Long, 49, of West Reading, died March 28, 2013, in Reading Hospital and Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of Dolores (Priebe) Long, West Reading and the late John J. Long.

He was a 1981 graduate of Wyomissing Area High School.

Keith played varsity football in high school and was a member of the championship team in the David Smith Memorial Basketball League of West Reading Summer Basketball League.

Keith was employed by Fine Wine and Good Spirits Shop, Douglassville. He previously worked for Aramark Refreshment Services and Wachovia Bank.

Keith's family and friends meant the world to him. He appreciated their love and support.

Keith's family would like to thank everyone for the generosity they showed him during his illness.

He will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his beloved daughter, Anna Madeline Long, at home; two brothers, Calvin C., husband of Terri Long, West Reading and Douglas D., husband of Diane Long, West Lawn; two nieces, Nicole Long and Allison Long; one nephew, Jeff Long and his good friend and mother of his daughter, Cheryl Luce, West Reading.

Memorial Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Friends may call Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the funeral home.
