Kay L. Burns, 63, died of natural causes Feb. 17 at 4:15 a.m. in her residence on Miltimore Street.
She was the wife of William J. Burns.
Born in Hamburg, she was a daughter of the late Bernie and Vera (DeWald) Behler.
Burns was employed for 15 years as a sales associate by Burlington Coat Factory, Reading, retiring in 2001.
Burns was treasurer of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, Reading, from 1978 to 1980.
She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Reading.
She is also survived by two sons, Richard and John, both of Reading.
Other survivors include a sister, Joan (Behler) Trump, Baltimore; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
