Katie E. Etchberger

Katie E. (Trievel) Etchberger, 75, of 835 Franklin Street, Apt. 410, Reading, Pa 19602, died January 11th at 2:05pm in the Wyomissing Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Reading, where she had been since October 10, 2003.

She was the widow of Claude C. Etchberger who died in 1989.

Born in Alsace Township, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Eva (Schmehl) Trievel.

Etchberger is survived by three sons, Robert L. of Reading, Larry H. of Bern Township and Brian D. of Reading.

Other survivors include a brother, Carl Trievel of Temple and two sisters, Amanda (Trievel) Spinka of Temple and Betty (Trievel) Nye of Reading.

There are also five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township. No public viewing. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
