Kathryn J. Strunk

Kathryn J. Strunk, 78, died September 13, 2009 in her Spring Twp. residence.

She was the wife of Arthur W. Strunk.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late George and Mamie E. (Beahm) Gring.

Kathryn was employed by the Wilson School District for 32 years, retiring in 1996.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Linda L., wife of Edward R. Zerbe, West Lawn and Kerry A., husband of Cynthia M. Strunk, Leesport. There are four siblings, Albert Gring, Wyomissing, Janet Edwards, Penn Twp., Lora Lee Henry, Reinholds and Sandra Good, Narvon. Two grandchildren, Shelby Strunk and Cheyenne Strunk also survive her.

Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Hain's Church Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before the service. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
