Kathryn S. Martens

Kathryn S. "Kitty" Martens, 92, formerly of Reading, died September 12, 2008 in The Highlands at Wyomissing. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Howard J. and Flora E. (Eichler) Stupp. She was a graduate of Wyomissing High School and West Chester University. Mrs. Martens was a Realtor for the former Howard Stupp Realty and later Martens Realty, both of Reading for a total of 20 years, retiring in 1976. She was a member of the Reading-Berks Association of Realtors. Kitty was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church, Wyomissing and an active member of the Reading Women's Club. She was a former president of the Junior Women's Club of Wyomissing. Mrs. Martens is survived by her son, John A., husband of Darlene B. (Babb) Martens, Whitfield; her granddaughter, Jennifer L, wife of Dean Kraras, Wyomissing and three great-grandchildren, Peyton, McKenzie and Christopher. Memorial Services will be Saturday, September 20 at 11 a.m. in Atonement Lutheran Church, 5 Wyomissing Blvd., Wyomissing, PA 19610. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Atonement Lutheran Church at the above address or the Salvation Army, 301 South 5th Street, Reading, PA 19602. Edward J.
