Kathryn Julia Agnes Klingeman

Kathryn Julia Agnes (McGovern) Klingeman, 94, of Wyomissing, passed away December 27, 2013 in The Highlands at Wyomissing.

Her husband, Albert E. Klingeman, died July 10, 2002.

Born June 24, 1919 in Reading, she was the daughter of the late John Joseph and Edna Viola (Denscheilman) McGovern.

She was a 1936 graduate and honor student of St. Peter's High School and a 1938 graduate of McCann School of Business.

Kathryn worked as an optician's assistant for McIntire Magee and Brown Co.; as a secretary for Vanity Fair Mills; and finally as a secretary for Textile Machine Works.

She was a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading.

Kathryn is survived by her nephew, John O. McGovern, Jr., Pottstown, and her niece, Kathryn M., wife of Michael J. Doyle, Sr., Exton. Also surviving is her cousin, James O., husband of Diane McGovern, Lansdale.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, January 3, 2014 at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading. A viewing will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum.
