Kathryn B. Keeler

Kathryn B. (Bricker) Keeler, 79, of 437 Oak Terrace, West Reading, died December 17th at 2:40 a.m. in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center where she had been since December 13th.

She was married June 22, 1946 to William H. Keeler, Sr.

Born in Reading she was a daughter of the late John H. and Sarah K. (Schroeder) Bricker.

She was a 1940 graduate of Reading High School.

Keeler was a legal secretary for the law offices of Merkel, Spang and Weidner from 1965 until her retirement in 1986.

She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Reading where she was a secretary for a number of years, last working Friday.

Keeler was also the secretary for the Muhlenberg Volunteer Home Care.

She is also survived by a daughter, Ellen L. (Keeler) Focht of Exeter Township and two sons, William H. Keeler Jr., of Bluewater Bay, Florida and David A. Keeler of Pennside.

Other survivors include a sister, Jeanne L. (Bricker) Haines of Reading and three brothers, Lee C. Bricker of West Reading, E. William Bricker of Exeter Township and Robert A. Bricker of Sinking Spring.

There are also seven grandchildren surviving; Sarah H. Focht, Louise E. Focht, Celeste A. Focht, Jarrod A. Keeler, Zachary N. Keeler, Caitlin L. Keeler and Allison M. Keeler.

Services will be Friday at 11:30 am in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Viewing 10am until time of service. Rev. Robin Henry officiating. Burial in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Peace Lutheran Church, 1728 Centre Ave., Reading, Pa., 19601.
