Kathryn C. Graeff

Kathryn C. Graeff, 84 formerly of Mohrsville died March 20th in Berks Heim. She was the widow of Robert F. Graeff who died November 20, 1999. Kathryn was born in Bernville and was the daughter of the late Albert and Stella (Reber) Zimmerman. She worked for fifteen years for Risser's Grocery Store in Shoemakersville. She also worked for various Knitting mills in the area. She last worked for Robert Miller Knitting Mill, Shoemakersville from where she retired in 1992. Kathryn was an active member of the Mohrsville Church of The Brethren. She served as church secretary for many years and enjoyed participating in the choir. She could always be counted on to help at church suppers and various events. Kathryn is survived by two daughters, Linda L. wife of John Jacoby, Shoemakersville, Susan M. Sunday of Mohnton, one son, Allen C. Graeff of Bethlehem, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one brother, Norman Zimmerman, Blandon and one sister, Anna Mae Leyburn of Asbury, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM from the Mohrsville Church of The Brethren, 1483 Shoemakersville Road, Mohrsville, PA. 19541. A viewing will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the Church. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
