Kathryn Gersbach

Kathryn M. Gersbach, 50, of Wyomissing, entered eternity surrounded by her friends and family on December 24, 2015 at Fox Chase Cancer Center.

Born in Reading she was a daughter of the late Francis A. and Bernadine M. (Kolson) Gersbach.

She was a graduate of Reading-Muhlenberg Vocational School earning her nursing license.

She is survived by her daughter, Sarah E. Gersbach, Mohnton and four siblings: Francis A. Gersbach Jr.; Bernadine Kern; Anne Conrow and Elizabeth Hoyle.

Kathy was predeceased by two siblings: Dorothy Anne Kreitz and Mary Louise Gersbach.

Kathy loved her job dearly at Children's Clinic of Wyomissing, where she worked for 30 years as a nurse and records coordinator. Her job was her life and her enthusiasm and joy was passed on to her co-workers, the patients and their families.

Kathy loved gardening and took great pride in decorating her grounds. She cherished her time on her back porch, watching birds and working on crafts.

Kathy was everybody's friend and had a positive influence on many lives, especially at Valley Greene Village. Kathy gave her heart fully to her friends and family. No task was ever to hard for her to accomplish. She was there for everyone, whether help was needed or not and always with a smile on her face and a positive attitude.

Services will be Saturday, January 9th at 10 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be private.
