Kathryn D. Fink

Kathryn Doris Fink, 91, formerly of Laureldale, died May 20, 2010 in ManorCare Health Services, Spring Township.

She was the loving companion of Edwin S. Schaeffer who died February 3, 1991.

Born October 25, 1918 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Emily (Wentzel) Fink.

Kathryn was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

Surviving is a son, Donald W. Kirby, Sr. of Jackson Twp, Myerstown.

Other survivors include three grandchildren: Erin L. Kirby of Orwigsburg; Heather L. Kirby of Columbus, OH and Donald W. Kirby, Jr. of Myerstown.

Kathryn was predeceased by a brother, Maurice Fink and a sister, Ida (Fink) Goetz.

A Memorial Service will be Monday at 1 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
