Kathryn E. Sell

Kathryn E. Sell, 87, of Reading, died March 4, 2010 in the Wyomissing Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Her husband, George N. Sell, died November 18, 1994.

Born in Laureldale, she was a daughter of the late Paul E. and Gladys E. (Reinert) Freymoyer.

She was a 1941 graduate of Reading High School.

Kathryn worked as a knitter for the Berkshire Knitting Mill, Reading and Talbots Knitting Mill, Reading for a combined total of 30 years. She then worked for Boscov's Distribution Center, Exeter Township, until her retirement.

She is survived by her brother, Gerald P. Freymoyer, Muhlenberg Township and her sister, Faye J. Freymoyer, West Reading. There are two surviving grandchildren, Lori, wife of Tom Focht, Shillington and Joel Griffith, Reading. Also surviving are eleven great-grandchildren: Lauren Michalski, Ashleigh Muckey, Adam Muckey, Austin Muckey, Jena Focht, Karli Focht, Logan Focht, Thomas Focht, Jr., Alexa Griffith, Kyli Griffith and Nikolas Griffith. There is one great-great-grandchild surviving, Hayley Giffin.

Kathryn was predeceased by her children: Thomas P. Freymoyer, Kathy J. Morganti and Christine A. Sell. She was also predeceased by her granddaughter, Lisa Muckey in 2009.

Services will be Tuesday at 12 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.
