Kathryn Lorraine Behm

Kathryn Lorraine (Schaeffer) Behm, 95, of West Lawn, died November 3, 2010, in Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

Her husband, Russell P. Behm, died February 19, 1991.

Born in Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Martha (Garis) Schaeffer.

She was a 1934 graduate of Tremont High School, Schuylkill County.

Kathryn was employed for 30 years by Pomeroy's Department Store, retiring in 1978.

Kathryn is survived by three daughters, Patricia A. Seiger, West Lawn, Sandra L., wife of Rodney W. Beard, Fleetwood; and Carol J., wife of James H. Lochman, Spring Twp.; her brother, Charles H. Schaeffer, Tremont; and two sisters, Norma J. Kelleher, Pine Grove and Nancy J. Romanko, Tremont.

She is also survived by four grandchildren, Dale R. Seiger, West Lawn, Lisa M. Hilbert, Mertztown, Stacy L. Rudolph, Fleetwood and Jaime E. (Shawn) Rowe, Lebanon; two step-grandchildren, Mark D. Lochman, Bethel and Todd M. Lochman, Shillington; one great-grandchildren, Connor Rowe; and four step-great-grandchildren, Sarah M. Lochman, Eric H. Lochman, Stephen H. Lochman and James Lochman. Five nieces and nephews also survive her.

Services will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading, with Rev. Jeffrey Raffauf officiating. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
