Kathryn P. Angstadt

Kathryn P. Angstadt, 73, formerly of Oley, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at Golden Living Center in Exeter Township.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Jonas and Willi (Phillips) Fitzgerald.

A graduate of the Oley Valley High School class of 1955, she worked for many years as a cook for the Oley Legion Diner and the Oley Fire Company. She was a sweet, loving woman who loved to cook, play bingo, and make other people happy.

She is survived by a son, Jeffrey P. Angstadt and his wife Lorna of Boyertown; a daughter, Linda K. Snyder and her companion Thomas Bartman of Oley; three grandchildren: Ricky Snyder, Christopher Bowers-Angstadt, and Emily Angstadt; a niece, Suzanne Fitzgerald of Blandon; and her beloved dog, Simba. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Linwood Fitzgerald.

Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
