Kathleen M. Hall

Kathleen Marie Hall, 70, died September 5, 2008 in her Muhlenberg Township residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of Clarence Jacob Hall, whom she married July 13, 1957. They just celebrated 50 years of marriage last year.

Born July 11, 1938 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Paul Lester and Mary Louise (Lenich) Weidner.

Kathleen attended Muhlenberg High School.

She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Muhlenberg Township.

Kathleen is also survived by her four children: Debra (Hall) Constable of Dawsonville, GA; Diane (Hall), wife of Randy Schlear of Dagsboro, DE, Donna (Hall), wife of Billy VanKirk of Alsace Township and Steven C. Hall of Muhlenberg Township.

In addition, there is a brother, Paul Weidner of Shoemakersville and four sisters, Joyce (Weidner) Castner of Laureldale, Carol (Weidner) Gill of Exeter Township, Susan (Weidner) Speck and Judith (Weidner) High both of Muhlenberg Township.

Other survivors include nine grandchildren: Jessica and Krystle Constable; Becky Mills; Sarah Egan; Brett VanKirk, serving with the U.S. Airforce in Iraq and Mary VanKirk; and Samantha, Emily and Kolbi Hall.

There are also three great-grandchildren, McKenzie Wells, Elijah Holgate and Addison Mills.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels R.C. Church, 3121 Kutztown Road, Muhlenberg Township. A viewing will be held Monday evening from 6:30-8:00 pm and Tuesday morning from 9:00-9:30 am in the Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Muhlenberg Township.
