Kathleen R. Czarnecki

Kathleen Ruth Czarnecki, 65, died July 9 in her Mount Penn residence. She was the wife of Ronald F. Czarnecki.

Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late Merl R. and Ruth (Swartz) Miller.

Czarnecki was employed as a teacher's aide at Riverview Christian School, Muhlenberg Township, from 1987 until April 2005.

She was a 1959 graduate of West Reading High School and a member of Calvary Church of the Nazarene.

Also surviving are two daughters, Lori Ann (Czarnecki), wife of Frank LaPearl, Hamburg, and Cathy Ann (Czarnecki), wife of Mark DeTurk, Exeter Township.

There also are four grandchildren: Kayla E. LaPearl, Dylan M. DeTurk, Kellie R. LaPearl and Karlie E. DeTurk.

She was predeceased by a brother, Richard Miller.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Calvary Church of the Nazarene, 3301 Stoudts Ferry Bridge Road, Reading, with the Rev. Marvin Paisley officiating. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, and Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church.
