Kathleen M. Buckley

Kathleen Mary (Bonner) Buckley, 83, died December 31, 2006 at 1:18 pm in her Wyomissing Park residence.

She was the wife of Dr. John J. Buckley Sr., who died September 26, 1981.

Born in Philadelphia on September 8, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Miles B. Bonner Sr., and Mary A. (Hannigan) Bonner.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

Kathleen was a 1941 graduate of St. Gabriel's High School, Hazleton and a 1944 graduate of St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing, Philadelphia.

She was employed as a registered nurse with Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and later with her husbands practice in Pottsville and Reading before retiring in 1964.

Kathleen is survived by a son, John J. Buckley Jr., husband of Jane S. Buckley of Mohnton and three daughters, Kathleen M. Buckley wife of Dr. Anthony Teebagy of Shrewsbury, Mass., Jacqueline M. wife of Kevin P. Ezzell of Spring Township and Mary Lou wife of Kevin P. Duncan of Reading.

Other survivors include a brother, Francis P. Bonner of Hazleton and 12 grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, James J., who died February 8, 1988 and two brothers, Miles B. and Eugene B. Bonner.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading. Viewing will be held Tuesday 6:30 - 8:00 pm in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, West Reading. No public viewing on Wednesday. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Holy Name High School, 955 E.
