Kathleen D. Bailey

Kathleen Donna (Worrell) Bailey, 69 of Ontelaunee Township, died December 5, 2009 in St. Joseph Medical Center.

She was the wife of Melvin David Bailey whom she married June 13, 1964.

Born January 17, 1940 in Media, Delaware County, she was a daughter of the late Marshall and Anna (Piotrowski) Worrell.

Kathleen was employed as an examiner with Fleetwood Shirt, Inc., Fleetwood for 25 years.

She was a member of Becker's (St. Peter's) Lutheran Church, Richmond Township.

Other memberships included Kempton Rod and Gun Club, National Rifle Association and Ladies Auxiliary of Kutztown Fire Company.

Kathleen loved raising flowers and feeding birds.

In addition, she is also survived by two sisters, Nancy Oswald and Geraldine Fenstermacher, both of Mertztown.

Other survivors include a niece Donna Loos and many other nieces and nephews.

Kathleen was predeceased by a brother Marshall Worrell, II.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Becker's (St. Peter's) Cemetery, Richmond Township.
