Katherine Jane Werner

Katherine Jane (Webb) Werner, 82, of the Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Tilden Township, Pa., since October 20, 2004, died January 2nd at 1:30 am in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading, Pa., where she had been since January 1st.

She was the widow of Raymond Joseph Werner, who died December 24, 1998.

Born in Milford, Connecticut, she was a daughter of the late Walter L. and Muriel L. (Painter) Webb.

She was a graduate of Milford High School.

Werner was employed for 20 years in the Admissions Department at Milford Hospital before retiring.

She is survived by a son, Richard K. Werner of Charlotte, N.C., and two daughters, Dane Lee Werner of Antioch, California and Nancy-Jane Marie Werner of Shoemakersville, Pa.

There are also nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Services will be private. Burial will be in Milford (Conn.) Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 1131, Fairfax, VA 22038-1131. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
