Katherine E. Mccann

Katherine E. "Kitty" McCann, 85, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away in Reading Hospital and Medical Center on May 17, 2014.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Edward J. and Dora (Gruber) McCann.

Kitty was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church.

She graduated from Immaculate Heart Academy, Fountain Springs, and also Immaculata College.

Kitty was a dietician for Wernersville State Hospital. She also worked at the Vanity Fair Outlets.

Surviving are her siblings: Mary Ellen McCann, and Anne Peskin, both of Muhlenberg Township, and Edward McCann Jr., Cumru Township.

Additional survivors include her sister in law, Donna McCann, Pittsburgh, and nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kitty was predeceased by her brother, John McCann and sister, Margaret McCann.
