Katherine E. Koch

Katherine E. Koch, 84, formerly of St. Joseph's Assisted Living Center, Hyde Park, and Garfield Avenue, West Wyomissing, died April 3 at 4:40 a.m. in Reading Hospital.

She was taken there from ManorCare Health Services Inc., Spring Township, where she had been a patient.

Born in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Reiter) Koch.

Koch had been employed as a waitress at the West Lawn Fire Company, retiring in 1988.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

Koch is survived by several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. Private burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
