Kasey B. Kantner

Kasey B. Kantner, 34, passed away July 30, 2016, in her West Lawn residence, after battling numerous health issues.

She was the beloved wife of Jason S. Kantner, whom she married September 29, 2007.

Born in Reading, Kasey was the daughter of Judith M. (Kunsman) Geissler, Spring Township.

She was a 2000 graduate of Muhlenberg High School and a 2004 graduate of Alvernia University, where she received her B.A. in Criminal Justice and minor in Psychology.

Kasey was employed by Travelers Insurance as a claims representative.

She was a member Alsace Lutheran Church.

Kasey was a very athletic individual, playing various sports in high school and college including field hockey, softball, soccer, basketball and lacrosse. She enjoyed watching funny movies and was an animal lover. Kasey had a contagious laugh that would light up a room. She will truly be missed.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two aunts, Dyanne, wife of Robert Adams, Spring Township, and Carol Kunsman, Muhlenberg Twp. She is also survived by her dog, Winfield and two cats, Phoebe and Giorgio.

Kasey was predeceased by her grandparents, Winfield and Wilma Kunsman, with whom she was very close.

Services will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611 with burial to follow at Laureldale Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 10:30 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Edward J.
