Karl A. Wiswesser

Karl A. Wiswesser, 93, of Reading, died October 30, 2006 at 3:33 pm in Seton Manor, Orwigsburg, Schuylkill County.

He was the husband of Therese D. (Hohl) Wiswesser.

Born April 16, 1913 in Reading, he was a son of the late Louis and Hattie J. (Flat) Wiswesser.

He was a 1932 graduate of Reading High School.

Karl was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

He was employed 31 years with Firestone Tire and Rubber, Inc., Pottstown before retiring as a power engineer in 1976.

Karl is also survived by a daughter, Joan A. widow of Samuel R. Evans of Cleveland Heights, Ohio and a son, Robert K. husband of Kathleen Wiswesser of Northampton.

Other survivors include a brother, Edward Wiswesser of Mount Penn, ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a brother, William Wiswesser.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 9:00 am in St. Joseph's R.C. Church 1018 N. 8th St., Reading. Viewing will be Wednesday 6:30 - 8:00 pm in Edward J.
