Karen S. Rubertone

Karen Sue "Rube" Rubertone, 67, of Wyomissing, passed away August 26, 2017, in Season's Hospice, Phoenixville.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Joseph J. and Eleanor C. "Laukner" Ruberton.

Rube was employed by Customers Bank as the Third Party Risk Management Specialist.

She was an avid dog lover and enjoyed collecting antiquities. She also had a funny procrastinating nature about her that will be truly missed. She was also known as "Dick Tracy" by her loving family and friends.

Rube is survived by her two sisters, Linda C. Batastini, Pennside; and Jolyn M., partner of Lois A. Yost, Perkiomenville. She is also survived by her dear friend, Linda Toll, Wyomissing, and her two canine companions, Oscar and Louie.

The family would like to thank Rube's Customer Bank work family for all their support during this time.

The family would also like to thank the New Apostolic Church for their prayers, visits to Karen and the communion they came to dispense.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 12 p.m. in New Apostolic Church, 6291Perkiomen Ave, Birdsboro, PA, 19508. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Karen's honor to the Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Rd, Birdsboro, PA 19508. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
