Karen Elizabeth Hoover

Karen Elizabeth Hoover, 70, of Laureldale, died September 13, 2014 in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township.

She was the wife of Russell Raymond Hoover whom she married in 1967.

Born March 18, 1944 in Reading, she was a daughter of the later Sylvester Roth and Catharine Elizabeth (Schaeffer) Kusior.

Karen was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

She loved fishing and boating in the Indian River, DE.

A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Karen is survived by her two children: Russell, Jr., husband of Nancy Hoover of Massachusetts and Melissa, wife of Steve Gray of California.

Also surviving are her brother, Larry Roth of Mt. Penn and her two grandchildren, Jordan and Mackenzie Hoover.

There are also many nieces and nephews she is survived by.
