Karen L. Frantz

Karen L. (Endy) Frantz, 68, of Bernville passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 28, 2021, in her daughter's residence.

Her husband, Glenn M. Frantz, died on February 3, 2019.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Janice (Wisner) Endy.

A Mt. Penn graduate, Karen worked as a machine operator for the Berkshire Knitting Mills. She later worked for the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

A true fighter with a giant spirit to match Karen was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Her friendly personality, caring nature and love of her family will be greatly missed.

She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer L. (Hamaker) Biondo and Tara A. (Hamaker) Columbo, wife of Jeffrey, all of Fleetwood. She was a loving Mom Mom to nine grandchildren: Jarrod, Jazmin, Tyler, Tianna, Taleena, Damien, Caden, Azerah and Taryn and three great-grandchildren: Mason, Jaelyn and Ellyani. She is also survived by her brother, Robert B. (Marcy) Endy, Boyertown; two sisters, Sharon Pollick (Steven), Tampa, FL and Linda Yeager (Michael), Wernersville; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Karen's life will be held Thursday January 6, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 5153 Kutztown Rd. Temple, PA 19560. Friends may call Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1818 Market St, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
