Justina L. Campbell

Justina L. Campbell, 94, formerly of Bern Township, passed away during the late hours of Thursday, November 23, 2023, in the care of Phoebe Berks.

She was the widow of David H. Campbell, who passed away July 30, 2014. Her parents were the late Thomas W. and Dorothy V. (Chapman) Hirschbiel.

Justina is survived by her daughter, Mary Patricia, spouse of R. Bruce Mayhugh, of Knoxville, TN; sons: David of Miramar, FL; C. Frederick, spouse of Teri, of Williamsburg, MI; and Dennis, spouse of Robin, of Leesport; grandchildren: Kristin (Ian) Good, Kyle (Rosemarie) Campbell, Sara (Cody) Bachman; and Katie Campbell; great grandchildren, Luke, McKena, Theodore ("Teddy"), and Eloise; and her sister, Lorraine Bangert of Ft. Wayne, IN.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son, Jeffery; two sisters, Mona and Jacqueline; and her brother, Gordon.

Justina's family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the endless list of individuals who met her, befriended her, knew her, shared life and laughter with her. Know that she appreciated all and often remarked that you were "angels on her shoulder". We thank the many dedicated professionals within the Reading health care system for their timeless support, care and friendship over the years, as well as the Tower Health and Phoebe staff during these past few weeks. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 2600 St Albans Dr, Reading, PA 19609, with visitation at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the start of Mass.
