June R. Yeagley

June R. Yeagley, 79, formerly of Wyomissing, passed away after a long fight with Alzheimer Disease in Devon Manor, Devon PA.

She was the devoted wife of Dr. Heber E. Yeagley who died on Mach 8, 2006.

Born in Reading, She was the daughter of the late Howard and Emma (Schaeffer) Royer.

June was a graduate of Shillington High School and Reading Business Institute.

She was an active member of Atonement Lutheran Church, Wyomissing where she served on the Christmas decoration committee and spent tireless hours maintaining and beautifying the church gardens. She also was a member of the PA. Horticultural Society; Berks County Garden Club; and the Reading Hospital Women's Auxiliary.

June is survived by a son Jonathan E. Yeagley husband of Susan K., Berwyn, PA ; and a daughter Mary Elizabeth wife of Richard Novosel, Wexford, PA.

She is also survived by a sister Barbara widow of Wayne King, Shillington.

Four grandchildren Katie Yeagley, Lauren Yeagley, Jonathan Yeagley, and James Yeagley also survive her.

Services will be Monday 10:30 a.m. in Atonement Lutheran Church. Friends may call from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. in the church. Burial will be held in Charles Evans Cemetery.
