June Anna Williams

June Anna Williams, 87, of Reading, passed away in Manor Care Sinking Spring, on May 27, 2014, where she resided since April 15, 2014.

She was the companion of Lawson C. Fox for over 25 years.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Augustus P. and Bertha Brickel.

June attended Reading High School.

She loved the piano, reading, and playing games and cards, especially pinochle. She also enjoyed square dancing and round dancing.

June was a member of the Conrad Weiser Coin Club and B & B Square Dance Club of Lehigh Valley.

Survivors include her children: Judy L., wife of Jan Burkey, Spring Township, Milan H. Williams, husband of Gail, Sun City, FL., and David L. Williams, husband of Patti, Birdsboro.

Other survivors include a daughter in law, Linda Williams, Viera, FL., and two sisters: Bonnie Lesher, and Mary Jane Arbogast.

Also surviving are five grandchildren: Scott, Steve, Jason, James, and Jamie, and three great grandchildren: Emmalie, Emily, and Curren.

June was predeceased by her husband Barton R. Williams Sr., sons, Barton R. Williams Jr. and Arvid P. Williams, three sisters and a brother.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday June 4th at 10:00 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave. West Reading PA 19611. Friends may call from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
