June Shipe Miller

June Shipe (Geible) Miller, 96, formerly of Allentown Pike, Muhlenberg Township, died January 14, 2015 in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township. Prior to her stay at ManorCare, June had spent six wonderful years living as a resident at Country Meadows, Wyomissing.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Stanley R. Geisinger, who died in 1957 and by her second husband, Kenneth R. Miller who died February 1, 1998.

Born June 29, 1916 in Muhlenberg Township, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Edna S. (Shipe) Geibel.

June was a 1935 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

She was employed as a sample hand with Vanity Fair, Wyomissing for 14 years.

Surviving is her stepson, Robert K. Miller of Kansas City, MO; her two step grandchildren and her one step-great granddaughter.

Also surviving is her niece, Carole Custer and her five nephews, Donald Kaufman, Scott Kaufman, Richard Kauffman, Larry Geibel and David Geible.

There are also a number of great nieces and nephews surviving.

June was predeceased by her sister, Betty Kaufman and her brother, Forrest Geibel.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in Laureldale Cemetery's Chapel, 4631 Pottsville Pike, Muhlenberg Township. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
