June M. Smith

June M. Smith, 90, of Spring Township, died in ManorCare, Sinking Spring on February 13, 2014.

She was the wife of Charles E. Smith.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Fred I. Reed and Frances (Green) Reed Atkins, wife of Raymond Atkins.

June was a 1941 graduate of Shillington High School.

She was a member of St. Luke's UCC, Kenhorst.

Survivors include her two children: her daughter, Judy Gehr, (Gil) and her estranged son and his family.

Other survivors include her brother, Kenneth Reed (Evelyn), her grandsons: Jeff Gehr (Tori), and Troy Gehr (Lisa); and her four great-grandchildren: Gavin, Mina, Tyler, and Alexis.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
