June E. Kirschman, 80, of Lincoln Park, died January 2, 2006 in Reading Hospital where she had been a patient since December 24.
She was the wife of Raymond A. Kirschman.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy L. Maurer, Sr. and Grace E. (Meinholz) Maurer Werner.
Mrs. Kirschman was a special education teacher for the Berks County Intermediate Unit for 15 years retiring in 1993.
She was a graduate of Reading High School in 1944 and earned her BS in Education from Kutztown College in 1948.
June was a member of Lincoln Park United Methodist Church.
She was a member of the Friends of West Lawn/Wyomissing Hills Library and a member of the West Lawn/Spring Twp. Women's Club.
She is also survived by two sons, Greg A. husband of Jacquelyn Kirschman, Sinking Spring and Brad husband of Geene Kirschman, Carefree, AZ and one daughter, Robin A. (Kirschman) wife of Ronald Fritz, Auburn, PA. There is also one brother, LeRoy L. Maurer, Jr., Ocala, Florida. Four grandchildren and one great-grandson also survive her.
Memorial Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
