June Inez Roland

June Inez (Litchard) Roland, 78, of 301 Summit Avenue, Cumru Township died August 11th at 7:45 am in ManorCare Health Services, Spring Township, where she had been since June 5th.

She was the wife of Edward Clayton Roland, at home.

Born in Sunbury, she was a daughter of the late Ralph J. Sr., and Edna (Bloom) Litchard.

She worked for 19 years at Dolphin International Corporation, Shillington before retiring in 1965.

Roland was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Reading.

She is also survived by a brother, Ralph J. Litchard Jr. of Akron, Ohio and a sister, Jean I. (Litchard) Neitz of Sunbury.

There are also several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Thursday at 10:00 am in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Rev. Jeanne Beadle officiating. Viewing will be Wednesday 6:30 to 8:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will be in Wyomissing Cemetery, Gouglersville. Contributions may be made to Trinity Deaf Lutheran Church 527 Washington Street, Reading, Pa 19601.
