Juliane W. Kiefer

Juliane W. Kiefer, 92, died February 20, 2010 in her Reading residence.

She was the widow of Adolf Kiefer.

Born April 16, 1917 in Bruchsal, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Wilhelm and Anna (Bickel) Bechtold.

Juliane is survived by three children, Klaus A., husband of Evelyn Kiefer of Blue Ridge, Virginia; Ingrid M., wife of Gerhard A. Weis of Exeter Township and Ilse M., wife of Russell D. Kroenig of Reading.

In addition, there are eight grandchildren surviving: Ralph, Nancy and Michael Weis, Stephen and Mark Kiefer, Kristine Heckler, Karen Mowrer and Julie Hartman.

There are also twenty great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren surviving.

Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township.
