Julia Betty Reinert

February 16, 1928 — June 3, 2024

Julia Betty Reinert

Julia Betty Reinert, (96), passed away peacefully on Monday, June 3, 2024 in her home of sixty- two years in Lower Heidelberg Township. She was the widow of Robert Wilber Reinert, Sr, who died in 2001.

Born February 16, 1928, in Reading, Pennsylvania, she was the youngest of 8 children of the late Charles Miller and Jennie (Eisenhower) Kieffer. She spent her childhood on several family farms and received her formal education in the Fleetwood School District.

Julia worked most of her career as a highly skilled seamstress in the textile industry, retiring in 2005.

As a young adult, she played guitar and sang with several local country music groups. Julia's gifts as a seamstress (and a baker) kept her busy sewing and baking for family, friends and neighbors even through the age of 91. She always enjoyed relaxing on the swing she had made for the breezeway of her home watching the world pass by. While relaxing, she would often listen to the music of Irish singer Daniel O'Donnell and even attended some of his live concerts. She also enjoyed watching "The Young and The Restless", NASCAR races and a massive collection of recorded movies on TV.

Left to treasure her memory are sons, Robert Wilber Reinert, Jr of Robesonia and Mark Steven Reinert of Sinking Spring.

Julia was predeceased by her husband; parents; three brothers (Jim, Allan & Jess) and four sisters (Goldie, Evelyn, Lula & Pearl).

In respecting Julia's wishes, the services will be private.

Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to serve the Reinert family. Condolences may be expressed at kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
