Julia M. Pitcherello

Julia Marie (Moyer) Pitcherello, 83, died March 8, 2012 in her South Temple residence.

She was the wife of Nelson Holmes Pitcherello who died November 7, 1993.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Ammon and Julia M. (Warner) Moyer.

She was a 1946 graduate of Reading Catholic High School.

Julia was employed with Western Electric and AT&T for 23 years, retiring in 1987.

She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.

Surviving are her son, David N., husband of Sally R. (Morelock) Pitcherello of Maidencreek Township and her daughter, Mary Beth (Pitcherello), wife of Andrew F. Richards of Pittsburgh.

Other survivors include her sister, Elaine (Moyer) Slusser of Cumru Township, her brother Raymond Moyer of Wyomissing and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition, she is survived by her two grandchildren, Sarah and Christopher Richards.

Julia was predeceased by three siblings: Anna (Moyer) Frey, Ammon "Paul" Moyer and Henry Moyer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels R.C. Church, 3121 Kutztown Road, Muhelenberg Township. A viewing will be held from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
