Julia M. Mcafee

Julia M. McAfee, 51, passed away June 22, 2011, surrounded by her loving family, in her West Wyomissing residence.

She was the wife of Charles Buster McAfee.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of Theodore C. Engelhardt, Wyomissing and the late Elizabeth A. (Eberl) Engelhardt.

Julia was a 1977 graduate of Wyomissing High School and a 1982 graduate of Albright College.

She had worked as a proof reader and also owned an art shop in Cape May, NJ.

Julia was artistic, funny and witty. She loved music and Cape May.

She was a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading.

In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by her siblings: Brian C., husband of Suzanne Engelhardt, Cumru Township and Susan M., wife of James Irwin, Sparta, NJ. Also surviving are her four nieces: Elizabeth Engelhardt, wife of David Camden, Emily Engelhardt, Christine Engelhardt and Cennae Bedrick.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading. A visitation will be 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
