Julia M. Good

Julia M. Good, 96, formerly of Womelsdorf and Shillington, died March 9, 2010 in Berks Heim.

Her husband, Dr. Harry S. Good, died November 16, 1970.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late George H. and Edna E. (Geist) O'Dell.

She was a graduate of Reading Hospital School of Nursing in 1935 and worked as an RN for Reading Hospital.

Julia was a member of St. John Baptist de la Salle, Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.

She was a past president of the Berks County Medical Auxiliary, the Staff Wives of Reading Hospital and the Women's Club of Womelsdorf.

Julia is survived by two children, Harriett A., wife of Donald Swenson, Overland Park, KS and George H., husband of Lynn Good, Campobello, SC. There are two sisters, Harriett (O'Dell) Anderson, Pottstown and Margaret L. O'Dell, Hershey. Six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. John's Church. Burial will be private in Womelsdorf Union Cemetery.
