Julia Linsanbigler, 102, formerly of Temple, died August 15, 2010 in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township.

She was the wife of Irvin Linsanbigler who died July 3, 1989.

Born September 17, 1907 in Ruma, Yugoslavia, she was a daughter of the late Anton and Frances (Dreer) Kadnar.

Julia was employed as a topper with Berkshire Knitting Mills.

She enjoyed bowling for many years, into her eighties.

Surviving is a daughter, Jane I. (Linsanbigler), widow of Charles E. Phillipson of Temple.

Other survivors include a sister, Elizabeth Price of South Heidelberg Township; three grandchildren, Eileen Phillipson, David Phillipson and Kath Highley and one great granddaughter.

Julia was predeceased by two brothers and four sisters.

Services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
