Julia M. Boczar

Julia M. Boczar, 79, formerly of Temple, died of natural causes Nov. 22 at 7:00 p.m. in ManorCare, Laureldale where she had been residing since March 17, 2000.

She was the wife of Paul Boczar, Temple.

Born in Tower City, Pa, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Sherack) Lodish. Boczar had been employed for the Muhlenberg Township Police Dept., as a secretary until her retirement.

She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.

Boczar was a 1944 graduate of Porter Township High School, Tower City, PA.

She is also survived by two sons Ronald P., Muhlenberg Twp., and Thomas J., New York, NY.

She is also survived by three brothers, Joseph of Lititz, John of Tower City, and George of Tower City; and six sisters Mary (Lodish) Jacoby of Las Vegas, NV, Helene (Lodish) Richards, of Jacksonville, FL, Kathleen (Lodish) Reed of Tower City, PA, Corrine (Lodish) Daub of Tower City, Pa, Stella Lodish of Reading, and Carol(Lodish) Reiner of Va.

There are also four grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 am in the Chapel of Resurrection at Gethsemane Cemetery. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Laureldale. Friends may call from 8:45 to 9:45 am at the Walter R. Christ Funeral Home.
