Judith E Stoudt

Judith Evans Stoudt of Wyomissing, PA passed away May 8, 2026, which ended her valiant fight against cancer and provided peace for her with the angels. To her family and friends, she was known as Judy, Jamie, Role, honey, mom, Grammy, and the great facilitator! Her family adored and cherished her. She lived life with style and grace, loved life and family with a passion, and cared deeply for others.

Surviving Judy are her husband, Geoffrey; daughter Ashley and husband Raymond Del Bianco; son Christopher and wife Marcy (Brown) and grandchildren Katie, Ty and Carson; and son Bradley and wife Jennifer (Hawthorne) and grandchildren Jessie, Benjamin, Zachary, and Connor.

Providing and caring for her family was of primary importance to her, but she had the energy and desire to serve her community and church as well. Early on she was actively involved with the Red Cross and the Junior League. She was an initial supporter of Rainbow Home, which provided care to people with terminal HIV/AIDS. With children in school at Wyomissing Area, she chose to run for school board, was elected, and served for 14 years, with eight as president. As the children advanced through school, she worked at the Berks County Intermediate Unit for a number of years, continuing her interest in educational development. During these active years she served her church, Atonement Lutheran Church of Wyomissing, earning the nickname "Mrs. Lutheran" within her family. She was a cofounder of the church's Christian preschool program which remains an active church program to this day. In addition, she served on multiple committees and groups, always lending a hand where needed.

Traveling was a passion of hers, seeing the world with Geoff, children, and grandchildren. With the onset of illness, she lamented her inability to get up and go. Judy was a gracious host and master chef, joyfully gathering friends and family for celebrations and holidays. Many good times occurred at the family's Eagles Mere mountain retreat where she brought friends and family together around the famous "round table." Judy read widely, spoke knowledgeably about nature and science, and engaged everyone she encountered with welcome, respect, and curiosity.

The family thanks all of Judy's friends near and far for the outpouring of affection, care, and concern showered on her during her illness. It is greatly appreciated. The family is also grateful to the oncology and hospice teams at Reading Hospital and St. Francis Home for their extraordinary skill and care.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Contributions in her memory may be made to the Wyomissing Area Education Foundation, 630 Evans Avenue, Wyomissing and to the Eagles Mere Foundation, PO Box 402, Eagles Mere, PA 17731
