Judith Ann Sherman

Judith A. Sherman, 85, a resident of Reading since 1969, died of natural causes on December 25, 2022.

Judy, who most recently resided at Phoebe Berks, Wernersville, was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late John R. and Jean M. (Herold) Adriansen.

She was a 1959 graduate of College of Mount St. Joseph, Cincinnati, Ohio and a registered nurse.

Judy was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Sinking Spring, and an active member of its Senior Association. She was also a volunteer for the American Association of University Women (AAUW).

Surviving are children: John C. Jr., husband of Jean Sherman New York, NY; James J., Blandon; and Joan A. (Garza), wife of Mark R. Garza of Blandon. Also surviving is her brother, John H. Adriansen.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Judy's memory to St. Ignatius Loyola Church, Rectory at 2810 St Albans Drive, Reading, PA 19608.

Viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 19611. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 10 a.m. at St. Ignatius Loyola Church, 2600 St. Albans Drive, Sinking Spring, PA 19609, following by burial at Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale.
