Judith A. Geschwindt

Judith Ann Geschwindt, 77, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2025, after battling cancer for more than three years. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, on January 26, 1948, daughter of the late Mamie and Donald Brownmiller, Judy shared 58 years of marriage with her best friend and husband, Edward. Judy will be remembered by family and friends for her beautiful smile and for her openminded, nurturing, and kind spirit.

Judy's greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She loved having the opportunity to help raise her three grandchildren and took pride in her roles as a preschool teacher and a professional baker. A nature and bird enthusiast, Judy enjoyed many trips with her husband to tropical islands and overseas destinations.

In addition to her husband, Judy is survived by her daughter, Andrea Landrum, and her brother, Richard Brownmiller and his wife Patty, and by her three grandchildren, Evan, Avery, and Asher Landrum. A celebration of Judy's life will be held in the spring, her favorite time of year.
