Judith Ann Fitzgerald

Judith Ann Fitzgerald, 82, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 in her Wyomissing home. She was the loving wife of Lawrence Fitzgerald, with whom she shared 64 years of marriage.

Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late William K., Sr. and Gladys (Bennage) Stump. A graduate of Reading High School (Class of 1960), Judy worked in a variety of fields throughout her life - modeling, retail sales, real estate. She was particularly interested in architecture and drafting. Above all, she treasured the role of wife and mother.

Judith was a car enthusiast, a member of the Citroen Club and the Wyomissing Garden Club. Endlessly curious, her interests were varied and fun-loving.

Left to cherish her memory are husband, Lawrence; sons, Gerald Fitzgerald, husband of Helen, of Mims, FL, and Sean Fitzgerald of Vancouver, British Columbia; daughter, Susan Meoni, wife of Anthony, of Highland, MD; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her brother, William K. Stump, Jr.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 19611. A graveside service will follow at Laureldale Cemetery.
