Judith A. Matz

Judith A. (Boyd) Matz, 84 of Shillington, passed away in the company of her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Richard L. Matz.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Marian R. (Donmoyer) and Arthur Boyd.

Judith was a graduate of the Reading Hospital School of Nursing and she eventually specialized in geriatrics. She dedicated her life to caring for others both professionally and personally.

She is survived by her children, Gary, Susan and Michael. She was grandmom to Todd, Michael, Melissa, Megan and Tyler and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, David and Richard and was predeceased by her brother, Rudyard Boyd.

Her unwavering love and dedication to her family will be deeply missed but her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her.

A Celebration of life Services will be held on Sunday May 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Immanuel United Church of Christ in the Fellowship Hall, 99 South Waverly St, Shillington, PA 19607. Edward J.
