Juan Santiago

Juan Santiago, 55, of West Lawn, died April 12, 2011 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

He was the husband of Peggy A. (Wells) Santiago.

Born in Humacao, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Antonio and Anna M. (Garcia) Santiago.

Juan was a welder for over 30 years for East Penn Manufacturing last working in March of 2010.

He enjoyed family, his grandson, fishing and the company of friends. He was a wonderful, easy going person who will be dearly missed.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three children: Chastity L. Santiago, Bambi L. Santiago and Ryan J. Santiago, fiancé of Jessie Lash; and his grandson, Brian K. Reaves, Jr. all of West Lawn. Also surviving are his nine siblings: Carmen Lebron and Hilda Ortiz both of Temple; Maria Santiago and Luz Martinez both of Reading; Benicia Walker and Elba I. Santiago both of FL; Hector Santiago, NY; Luis Santiago, José Santiago and Wilfredo Santiago all of Reading. Two nephews: Albert Santiago and Saul Pacheco both of Reading also survive him.

Services will be Friday at 8 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
