Juan Perez Rivera

Juan Perez Rivera, 92 of Reading passed away September 12, 2014 in his residence.

He was the husband of Joann (Sanner) Rivera, whom he married 49 years ago on September 14, 1965.

Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Ramon Perez and Catalina Rivera.

Juan served in the Army during WWII as a Duty Soldier.

Before retiring in 1994, at the age of 65, he was employed by Alpha Packing.

Juan enjoyed watched his favorite Spanish soap operas and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife he is survived by children: Juan Rivera Jr., Bronx, NY; Pauly Rivera, Jerry W. Rivera, Reading; Eddie E. Rivera, Reading; Ronnie Perez Rivera, Reading; Elba E. Rivera, Reading; and Lisa M. Rivera, Reading. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and one great granddaughter on the way.

Juan was predeceased his grandchildren, Jaden Ruben Morales and Pauly Rivera Jr.
